Summary:
GE Healthcare Technical Interns work on a variety of assignments with responsibilities and hands-on involvement in areas in design. There will be project-oriented assignments where a manager and mentor are assigned for support. The primary areas our Technical interns will work in are medical imaging, information technologies and patient monitoring.

Position Description:
Assignments in Design and Development may include using CAD design systems, trouble-shooting hardware - software, and designing, testing and debugging new functions and features of our products.

Basic Qualifications for either position:
3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (in a 4.0 scale)
High self-confidence
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering areas.
Proven Leadership skills and experience.
Strong Initiative and ability to work independently and in teams.
Able to work for a minimum of 10 weeks
Must be willing to relocate - GE can provide assistance in locating housing
Must be a full time student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electric, Computer or Computer Science Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
