Deepen your connection with the inspiring community where you live and study. Just 30 students will be selected to participate in Collegetown Underground; a four-day immersive opportunity to learn about Baltimore outside of the classroom. This is the 5th year of "Go Underground" with previous topics on West Baltimore (2016), East Baltimore (2017), Art and Soul (2018), and Queer Community (2019).Civic Engagement 2020
Collegetown Underground Civic Engagement will focus on how college students can be active citizens in the Baltimore region. With 2020 being an election and census year, students will learn about the ways they can participate in the government and local communities. The program will explore the history and landscape of local civic engagement and connect students with elected officials and community leaders.Apply online by Sunday, December 1, 2019
