Monumental Life Insurance Company, one of the largest and most respected life insurance companies in the industry, is an affiliate of Transamerica Life Insurance Company, an Aegon Company.  We are located in Baltimore, Maryland and we are seeking a full-time paid Actuarial Intern.

Completion of this internship will provide an impressive entry on your resume for future employers.  

During your internship, you will be responsible for an important actuarial project involving financial modeling using actuarial software programs and presentation of results.  This is a full time (40 hours/week) temporary assignment, which is expected to last six (6) with a possible extension to twelve (12) months.  A flexible schedule is available.

We are seeking candidates with quantitatively oriented majors, self starters who enjoy problem solving, with some knowledge of probability and experience with Excel and/or programming/software.  Prior exposure to basic financial concepts is a plus.  Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
