Project Homeless Connect

Support Those Experiencing Homeless 9/19 - sign up today!

On Thursday, September 19, 2013, Baltimore will host Project Homeless Connect, a resource fair that provides services to hundreds of homeless individuals and families. Student volunteers will be paired with those experiencing homelessness to help them access services and hear their stories. Students from every university in Baltimore will attend so please join us!!

Shift times:

Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013:
Setup: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013:
All-Day Shift: 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Morning Shift: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon Shift:12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Takedown: 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
 

In order to volunteer, there is a mandatory on-campus (at UMBC) training that is required either on September 11th at 12:00pm or September 13th at 1:00pm in Public Policy room 107.

This event is open to UMBC students (undergraduate or graduate), staff and faculty.  Transportation will also be provided so choose a shift and sign up today at www.uwcm.org/phc/volunteer
