Youth advocacy - engage in process to understand challenges
There are a number of youth-based sites that could use more support this spring:
- College Gardens - afterschool program, M-Thurs (just pick one day)
- Walden Circle - another community-based program, Tuesdays
- Let's Go Boys & Girls STEM - Math Skills needed on Tuesdays
- A number of area school-based sites, flexibility with schedule, but consistent on day of week
Review the attached charts to learn more. If you are interested in participating this spring, set up a time immediately to meet with a Service-Learning Staff. All volunteers would be enrolled in The Shriver Center's 096 Community Service & Learning Practicum (zero credit, pass/fail transcript notation). The deadline is this Friday, March 1st!
