  • Choice Program's College Night - Mondays at UMBC, 5:45-8:15 pm; Held at UMBC
  • Choice Program's Education Team  - Wednesdays at a local Baltimore High School, 2:30-5:30 pm; Transportation provided
  • Cristo Rey Jesuit High School AT UMBC - Tutors needed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 2:30-4pm; Held AT The Shriver Center
  • Walden Circle - Tuesdays or Thursdays, 3-6:45 pm; Transportation Provided

Additionally, a number of our school partners could use a few more UMBC volunteers.  Arbutus Middle School is in pretty good shape.  For all others, you need to provide your own transportation.

Please note that outreach is connected to the 096 Community Service & Learning Practicum.  Weekly service averages @ 3 hours/week (30 hours for the semester) and is connected to structured reflection activities. Th 096 practicum is a zero-credit transcript notation and is graded pass/fail

For more information, please see the updated service chart!  If it's PINK, it's FULL!  If you are interested, please call (410) 455-2493 to set up a meeting to complete the 096 Prac Registration.
