Associate Underwriter Intern
Trade Credit Insurance protects the money due for goods and services already supplied to a customer. Effectively, any payment risk passes to the insurer. The credit insurer pays out in the event that a customer can't pay, as a result of insolvency, political risk, exchange rate fluctuations and a host of other factors.
Responsibilities:
• Calling buyers to request financial statements and/or relevant information to enable pro-active management of buyer risks.
• Obtaining bank and/or trade references.
• Establishing and maintaining the basis for ongoing relationships to enhance future information gathering efforts.
• Inputting of data into the Customizer database.
• Additional support and administrative duties as needed.
Fields: Accounting/finance/economics, Business management, Customer service, Financial services/investment banking, International relations/business
Year: Sophomore / Junior
Desired Skills: Microsoft Office, Written and verbal communication, Teamwork
Requirements: U.S. Citizen / U.S. National, Permanent U.S. Resident
Salary: $15.00 / hr
