DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY

The Intern is primarily responsible for assisting the Operations Analyst with collecting, analyzing and reporting on marketing campaign data.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze marketing campaign data
• Find useful patterns and trends in large datasets
• Build statistical models to optimize the use of marketing resources
• Produce and update marketing reports
• Run ad-hoc marketing studies


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: (Sample)

• High School Diploma or equivalency; pursuing Bachelor or Master’s Degree (3rd or 4th year student)

Experience: 

Skills/Abilities: 

• Strong data analytical, business and problem solving skills
• Experience with MS Office Suite; proficient with Excel
• Attention to detail, efficient organizational skills and demonstrated follow-through on deliverables
• Good communication (verbal/written) skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with MS SQL Server database and/or SQL language a plus
• Experience with statistical/modeling tools (Matlab, SAS, Stata, etc) a plus

Decision Making Responsibilities: 

• Position requires above average problem solving skills, will work under the direction of the leader.
