Full Title: New Shriver Center Posting- Healthcare Intern- Strategic Partnerships The National Quality Forum (NQF), conveniently located at Metro Center, is a nonprofit membership organization committed to improving the quality of healthcare. NQF is currently seeking an intern for its Strategic Partnerships Department. The Strategic Partnerships Intern will provide support for projects related to: 1) building community tools for public reporting of healthcare performance measures; 2) evaluating the use of performance measures in healthcare; and 3) evaluating the development of national healthcare priorities and goals. Among other tasks, the intern will be expected to contribute to a literature review regarding the setting of national healthcare priorities and goals. Additional responsibilities include materials development for advisory and proposal review panels; logistics preparation for group/panel convening’s or webinars; editing and posting of RFP’s; background research and literature review assistance; and assistance with draft and final project report preparation. The successful candidate will be: a bachelor’s level student or graduate with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a professional environment; with experience working with senior-level staff. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; possessing strong attention to detail; must show a personal commitment to accuracy and excellence; have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; possess demonstrated organizational skills; have the ability to work independently; be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; have strong writing skills; and show a dedication to following through on assignments in a timely manner.
