Calling All UMBC Creatives!

Call for Creative Works inspired by The Black Butterfly

We're proud to announce a call for creative works taking inspiration from Dr. Lawrence Brown's Black Butterfly Project.  All disciplines encouraged; take your vision to the past, present, or future; draw inspiration from Baltimore, your home settings, or elsewhere. Get creative!  
  • See the attached flyer for information and QR code link to submission form.  
  • April 19th deadline for submitting (get to work!)
  • Meet Dr. Lawrence Brown and get your copy of The Black Butterfly signed at our Black Butterfly Exhibition event on May 9th (4pm in UMBC Library Gallery)
