Alisha Sparks, Interim Executive Director with The Center for Educational Outreach at Johns Hopkins University's Whiting School of Engineering is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA to create the Transform Mid-Atlantic City Schools/JHU Student Volunteer Mapping and Training.
This sounds like an excellent opportunity for those interested in learning about systems, preparation for authentic service, K-12 partnerships, community building, etc. I understand from Alisha that she and her team have not been successful in selecting a candidate and are trying to move quickly.
