Serve with AmeriCorps at Reading Partners Baltimore!

Serving with AmeriCorps at Reading Partners is a unique opportunity for upcoming graduates to immediately put their values to action after graduation and start their career in service to others. AmeriCorps members gain valuable hands-on work experience and develop their career network, all while working alongside the Baltimore community to connect volunteers and serve students with one-on-one tutoring.

Reading Partners envisions a future where all children have access to the literacy support they deserve to reach their full potential. Join this important work by serving with AmeriCorps at Reading Partners! You'll work alongside the Baltimore community to connect volunteers to our program, inspire and coach tutors, support families, and serve students as they progress on their path to reading on grade level. AmeriCorps positions include:

Program Coordinator: Interested in overseeing a proven tutoring program to impact student literacy? Program coordinators manage Reading Partners' one-on-one tutoring program within a Baltimore City school partner: enrolling and assessing students; coaching volunteer tutors; forging positive relationships with families, tutors, and school staff; and more.

Volunteer Coordinator: Interested in connecting with community volunteers and empowering new tutors to provide one-on-one support to students? Volunteer coordinators are the face of Reading Partners within the Baltimore community - recruiting new volunteers; supporting volunteers through their tutor onboarding experience; engaging communities; and more.

Literacy Lead: Interested in empowering students with the literacy support they deserve to become lifelong readers? Join Reading Partners as an AmeriCorps Literacy Lead! The AmeriCorps Literacy Lead is a core part of our reading center team offering direct tutoring support to students through our one-on-one tutoring programs.
