Then learn more about Public Allies by attending their Meet and Greet on Wednesday, April 28th from 4-7pm @ UMB School of Social Work (525 W. Redwood Street, Baltimore, MD). Free food will be provided! Public Allies is an AmeriCorps Program that identifies talented young adults, ages 18-30, from diverse backgrounds who have a passion to make a difference and helps them turn that passion into a viable career path working for community and social change. All members earn a $5,350 education award to pay for future education or to pay back student loans; a stipend of $1,500 a month; and healthcare, childcare, and student loan deferment during the term of service.
