Missed Shriver Center Trivia?
Donations for laptops will benefit local families!
It was a great turnout for The Shriver Center's first ever Trivia Night, facilitated by Here's Your Host: Matt Eickhoff. Thank you to those who donated in lieu of participation. Staff is already talking about planning the next event!
At the event, Matt highlighted Shriver Center colleagues who are assisting Afghan refugees who settled in the Baltimore and DC region. Staff is raising funds to purchase laptops to connect these new arrivals to virtual English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, the ability to complete online job applications, school work, and to access online resources and information that will help their families become better acclimated and connected.
