"Reimagining the Harbor" virtual event Feb 8 at Noon!

Shriver Center Staff Sally Scott and Joby Taylor co-present

Have you seen the early responses to our Reimagining the Harbor as a Hub public paper in the news?  Here’s the Baltimore Business Journal story that started a buzz one day after we sent out our paper, and here’s a WBALTV story that’s getting word out to a wide public. We’ve since had a stream of encouraging and engaged responses from the Mayor’s Office and other regional elected officials, leaders, and Baltimoreans.

Creative ideas from community members are centered in our reimagining call and are driving the story now.  We need your voices and ideas to keep this conversation moving forward towards a bold and inclusively reimagined Harbor.  Please join us for a virtual event on Tues, Feb 8th at 12 noon sponsored by the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore (It will be a zoom style presentation, with Q&A discussion and call for continued input).

Click below to register for the Feb 8 Event:  When you click the link you’ll also find click-to-read tabs where you can see our original OpEd published in the Sun and a printable pdf of our full public Reimagining the Harbor as a Hub paper.

We sincerely hope you’ll join us for this virtual Waterfront Partnership event.  Please spread the word and invite friends, neighbors, and your local leaders to join too.  And, even if you can’t make it, keep sending us your responses and ideas; we’ll add them to our inspiring collection of community sourced visions!

Sending our best, and we’ll see you next Tuesday, Feb 8th at Noon!
