PAID, Part-time HR Intern Needed in Tysons Corner

Great Intern Position for those who live close to Virginia

Veris Group, LLC has an immediate opening for a part-time (~20 hours per week) Human Resources Intern to join our growing company and support the organization with various HR and office support functions. The HR Intern will serve as a member of the internal Human Resources team. The candidate will be responsible for all or part of these areas: recruiting and staffing logistics, office support, administrative support, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting, employee orientation; employee relations; compensation and benefits administration. In addition; this person will be responsible for working with Accounting and Operations managers.

The successful candidate will:
•    Source, screen and interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications.
•    Light office management duties and other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
•    Support benefits administration, and serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
•    Assist with employee files and records, assures completeness of files.
•    Assist in developing and maintaining relationship with employment agencies, universities, and other recruitment sources.

Candidate must have at least 1+ year of experience working in an office environment and completed classwork related to business and human resources. Candidate must be detail oriented and have keen organizational skills; be flexible, able to work well without supervision and have good judgment and discretion with a dedicated work ethic.
