Multimedia Engineer Interns Needed at Port Discovery

Seeking Students with Creative and Technical ambitions

Port Discovery Children’s Museum in Baltimore is seeking PAID Multimedia Engineer Interns to develop and design a show control system to operate and switch between several media components in a new exhibit. The exhibit is titled Kick It Up! and is a health related exhibit that promotes physical activity. The space will be designed as a soccer stadium and it will offer electronic device experiences such as DDR, Sport Trainers, LED scrolling messages, a large format video, a scoreboard and a sound system. The scope of the project will be to integrate a control system that allows the messaging and activities to coordinate with specific programs to be facilitated by staff.

The position is paid and the rate depends on experience. 

The project is currently under way and is expected to be finished by June 2012.

Again, Port Discovery is interested in uniting a talented student with creative and technical ambitions to provide the community with a much needed offering.
