Participate in International Field Research in Switzerland

Health, sustainability, & entrepreneurship themes- APPLY NOW

Too busy for a semester abroad?

Try International Field Research - a spring semester course on field research methods followed by a week-long applied research experience in Switzerland in June.

Design your own research topic or work on structured projects such as:

Why do the Swiss have lower health care costs AND lower rates of coronary heart disease than Americans?  What makes a community walkable?  How is global warming showing up in receding glaciers?  What does this mean for the Swiss who count on glaciers for water and to generate tourism?  Can there be eco-tourism in a developed country?  How can a small community maintain its identity and character while serving thousands of tourists?

Apply by December 1 to be considered for this course,
