Job Description:

The successful candidate will assist in the monitoring and support of UPS.com. The candidate will be responsible for script development, automation and generation of reports, application troubleshooting, and development of applications for internal use.

Knowledge and Skills:

The candidate must have knowledge of Java, SQL, scripting languages, and Linux shell scripting. Excellent oral communication skills are needed to interact with users, developers and other test team members. Excellent written communication skills are needed to be able to write concise and understandable defects against product.

Education:

Viable candidates must be currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program.  Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week.  The desired Co-op will be working toward a 4-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or related discipline.
