Intern with Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital, Inc.
Come intern at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) where we provide inpatient, outpatient and day programs for infants and children with rehabilitation and/or complex medical needs. MWPH is a specialty and rehabilitation hospital, and is co-owned and co-operated by the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins.
As a volunteer you will play an integral role within the Division of Psychology/Neuropsychology as volunteers are often asked to aid clinicians with scoring behavioral measures and entering comprehensive treatment plans. Additionally, volunteers have the opportunity to observe psychological intake interviews and psychological evaluations. As an added bonus, MWPH also offers a unique opportunity to volunteers--attendance to inpatient psychology groups that focus on adjustment to hospitalization and pain management. Volunteers may also have the opportunity to assist clinicians during the Weigh Smart pediatric outpatient obesity clinic.
Opportunities to assist in research projects are also available.
