Web Development Intern
We are looking for a motivated, independent and collaborative individual to participate in a corporate career development program through our Customer Care Group. Participants in this program are given opportunities to refine their problem solving skills; develop and hone their communication skills; work with varied internet technologies including web application servers, database servers, and web coding languages; and gain exposure to many aspects of the software business.
This important role links all areas of our business together, from the web developers who write the code to our trainers who explain how it works. You’ll be an essential part of our team through interaction with our clients to help them troubleshoot any technical questions. You’ll provide one on one support, so when they call; they have a live person to speak to...not an automated prompter that will drive them crazy.

What you’ll be doing:
•Providing our clients technical support and account management by phone and e-mail
•Researching and testing customer problems and questions
•Tracking of all support issues in an internal support system
•Documenting reproducible issues in the product bug database
•Supporting the Sales and Marketing team by assisting in product demonstrations
•Documenting solutions and techniques, making sure all information is available through technical notes and internal knowledge base
•Acting as a point of contact and for our clients, providing support and communication through while issues are being resolved
•Compiling weekly reports to the SiteExecutive team on customer support activity

What you’ll need to get started:
•Bachelor’s Degree in progress
•Great communication and technical writing skills
•You’ve got to be able to work independently; logically working through customers issues with patience
What would be awesome?
•Web development experience
•Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle and database administration
•Knowledge of a web content management system
•Experience with web application utilizing IIS and Apache Servers
•Understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
