Jamie McDonald
Co-Founder and CEO, GiveCorps
Jamie McDonald is the Co-Founder and CEO of GiveCorps.com, a social enterprise founded in 2010. GiveCorps is an internet platform connecting non-profits and educational institutions to young givers. It helps donors address their desire to:
- Identify giving opportunities in their areas of interest
- Give quickly and easily to organizations with tangible projects
- Get recognized and rewarded for giving
- Manage their giving, including budgeting and tax receipts, on a
single platform
GiveCorps also offers an entirely new direct marketing service for Nonprofits: a mailhouse for the new millennium. They provide an interested audience, marketing and promotion services, and social media assistance - with a risk sharing model that dramatically reduces cost and risk.
Come listen to Jamie talk about her journey from the corporate world to Co-Founder and CEO of a social enterprise. A strong believer in civic engagement, she will discuss both the challenges and rewards of learning how to do well by doing good.
